iPod Touch in 4th Grade Classroom - Impromptu Collaboration
In the elementary classroom working with the fourth grade mathematics teacher, I stumbled across the following demonstration of how the students are using the iPod Touches. In a sense, it demonstrates how comfortable the children are with the devices and the potential for learning they, literally, have at hand. Below is a quick snapshot of two girls demonstrating how they use the game, Mandala, to play a game that leverages peer-to-peer (human & machine) interaction.
